I am currently a graduate student at The Ohio State University in the Integrated Biomedical Graduate Program. During my first year I will be rotating through four labs to figure out what I actually want to do for my PhD work. My hobbies while in school have yet to be determined.

I just got accepted to the Connecticut corps. I have two weeks to figure out if Teach for America is what I want to do for the next two years. I feel like advice from an active corps member would really help. I guess my only real fear is failing to get through to these kids. Any advice on how to make this decision?

Its been forever since i last contacted you. Hope all is well. Ok!! So before you wonder HOW i came to know of this blog. I was working in India (Mumbai to be specific) and decided to search for an old article on my high school cross country team. I did not know how to search for it so just searched for my name and came up with some interesting links. One of them was your link where you mentioned my name for the meeting at Rocky’s, hehe!! Anyways, i have been reading up on how things have been for you lately. Sounds like you are doing well. Am very glad to hear that. The Europe trip sounded amazing.
